DAY 7 IN SRI LANKA 🌷
Rainy skies and misty roads couldn’t stop the people of Hatton from making the trek to Timothy Daniel’s father’s church and filling the hall. We were deeply moved by their faithfulness as Ps. Harley shared the word, followed by a powerful time of prayer—where some gave their lives to Christ for the very first time. 🤍
After lunch with the congregation, we packed our bags and began the 4 hour journey back to Colombo, stopping for a delicious team dinner before settling in at home and ending the night with a heartfelt debrief. A beautiful final day in Hatton that we’ll carry with us. ... See MoreSee Less

DAY 6 IN SRI LANKA 🌺
What a beautiful day in Nuwara Eliya! Over 100 village children filled the halls for a joyful outreach of worship, songs, face painting, tote-bag decorating, a jumping castle and so much more.
After the Rise team performed a skit, we shared a precious altar moment where more than 75 children raised their hands to follow Jesus.
The boys reached a wonderful milestone after reaching back home - finally completing the aquaponics system they had worked so faithfully on!
We finished the day exhausted but overflowing with joy, watching the seeds planted so gently begin to blossom. Tomorrow marks our final day in Hatton before travelling back to Colombo 🤍 ... See MoreSee Less

DAY 5 IN SRI LANKA 🐢
The girls spent another beautiful day with the women, sharing the importance of movement, friendship and doing life together — with Ruthie’s famous DIY oatmeal facemasks leaving everyone glowing! ✨

DAY 4 IN SRI LANKA 🌴
High in the breathtaking hills of Maskeliya, us girls were welcomed into a Hindu tea-picking village, where families had taken the day off simply to wait for our visit. 🤍
We prayed, massaged tired shoulders, painted nails on the tea pickers calloused hands and shared moments of tenderness that needed no words and prayed bold prayers over their lives and family. Our hearts were deeply moved by the love and joy these beautiful people carried, even amongst so little.

DAY 3 IN SRI LANKA 🏵️
A beautiful day pouring into the mums and bubs - Ruthie's DIY fave masks brought plenty of smiles, while Mama Joy shared the gift of healing touch through massages and gentle movement for the body. We painted nails on the mama's, shared laughter, and watched the mama's experience a lovely and a well deserved pampering session

DAY 2 IN SRI LANKA 🪷
Today took us winding through the hills of Hatton to Word and Deed Lanka, nestled amongst the beautiful tea plantations.
We were welcomed with the sweetest smiles from the primary children, spending the afternoon worshipping, dancing, creating and simply sharing joy together. As the afternoon came to an end, we watched them wander one by one back up the hills towards home.
